You ‘ought’ to do nothing, it’s all voluntary.

Heal your poor broken heart, or let it heal itself. Give it all the help and patience you can, don’t force it to do your will before it is ready.

Even if it never can do everything it used to do, why does that matter?

it has seen you you through so much, be grateful and take care of it. Try, try, try to take it easy for a bit. It's so frightening to have heart procedures - even recovering from the emotional stress of the procedure takes time, let alone your body's need to heal. Hugs to you as you continue the journey. I didn't realize your symptoms were so severe but I am glad you have taken the aggressive action to move to the next and very positive step. I think as your body adjusts to the new pacemaker, you will adjust as well.

And I hope you will look carefully at the role of stress. I speak of this from great personal experience (though not heart-oriented) and know that ill health and stress are tied together like a tight know and if you can release the knot, you will heal more effectively. In other words, reconsider your secretary duties, at least a leave of absence!

Your reflections are beautiful and heartfelt (no pun intended). I don't know if the doctors see that part of the heart but we do -- and cherish it.Jeaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17482528482559445943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7041834369094012241.post-55873368269953175092015-04-16T06:19:34.653-06:002015-04-16T06:19:34.653-06:00Your final lessons are so appropriate.
