I'm also a bit jealous - as immigrants there isn't much family, just the three of us, so Christmas is a rather quiet event (which in itself is not bad at all). How lovely to witness the unspoiled joy of a toddler - it reminds me of the time when our daughter was that age. The wonder in her (and our) life.<br />I wish you a happy and healthy 2019.Carola Bartzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05536486322412234854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7041834369094012241.post-53489331497379694092019-01-02T06:37:39.211-07:002019-01-02T06:37:39.211-07:00Sally, I am so happy to see this post and to share...Sally, I am so happy to see this post and to share in your reflections of such a wonderful family holiday. It does indeed sound as good as it gets, surrounded by most of your family and sharing experiences, both in small and large groups. It must have been fun for the cousins to be together. And your house looks so pretty. You have a glorious family, all so lovely and all with wonderful smiles. I love that you spent time with neighbors, got to see some of your city and even a gift to yourself in touring the Molly Brown house. Truly, a beautiful holiday. It's great that you're able to mix family time with the opportunity to meet new people, and keeping that in mind, I feel the same way -- that it's important to take the time to process events and interactions so as not to lose the importance of the time you took to participate in such encounters. I pray it stays with him as long as possible. We spent Christmas alone for the first time in many years. We did have family visiting just prior to Christmas and expect our older Grandchildren to visit for several days after the New Year. I must admit it was a peaceful time for us - no hustle and bustle. We just went into the forest on our touring skis and tried not to go into town which is crazy with tourists. Hugs to you and Happy 2019 to you, Jim, and your Family.Barbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04984171407726520584noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7041834369094012241.post-43847924380726991022018-12-30T08:00:30.082-07:002018-12-30T08:00:30.082-07:00just lovely and loving, something to be treasured ...just lovely and loving, something to be treasured and remembered always...Great Grandma Linhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11791149428495689835noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7041834369094012241.post-52484687360927170892018-12-30T06:28:43.064-07:002018-12-30T06:28:43.064-07:00Your photos really tell the tale of a beautiful, m...Your photos really tell the tale of a beautiful, meaningful Christmas season.
