Now that we're back in Hawaii, we find ourselves making new/old traditions.Kayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07461569436322815787noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7041834369094012241.post-58286335121809400282016-12-17T15:12:13.219-07:002016-12-17T15:12:13.219-07:00So enjoyed reading your post! The current generations, all those beautiful faces! And it sounds like the way it should be -- everyone does their thing, individually and together, and it all turns out perfectly.

We do need to hang onto tradition and it becomes more and more difficult as miles separate us. What a great gift you had -- and gave -- in being almost all together again.Jeaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17482528482559445943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7041834369094012241.post-22946088074431367112016-12-03T23:57:36.382-07:002016-12-03T23:57:36.382-07:00It's so good that most of your kids made the e...It's so good that most of your kids made the effort to gather together for thanksgiving. And blending of families always adds more to the mix. We had karaoke one year but it didn't seem to "take." I miss Thanksgiving with my mom. It's never been the same without her. She was the rock. It's true, families create traditions that stay with us. I remember reading once that families creat special vocabularies, too: words or made-up words and phrases understood only within the family. I think that's really neat!
Jeanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09782394068144501251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7041834369094012241.post-66397593360634583412016-12-03T07:13:35.348-07:002016-12-03T07:13:35.348-07:00Sounds like a wonderful time!
